Lighter Low-Temperature Welding Wire – Quick User Guide
This welding wire is mostly low-temperature flux-cored wire, suitable for repairing small metal parts.
1. Preparation
Sand the welding area thoroughly to remove paint, oxide layers, and oil.
For thin wires, twist and secure the ends first to prevent shifting during welding.
2. Heating & Welding
Use a windproof lighter and heat the joint evenly with the outer flame (hottest part).
Lightly touch and scratch the heated area with the wire end. The wire melts automatically above 360°C.
Let the molten metal flow evenly into the seam/joint to ensure full coverage.
3. Cooling & Finishing
Remove the lighter once the weld is full, and keep the workpiece still for natural cooling.
For faster cooling, gently dab the surrounding area with a wet towel.
No extra cleaning of residues is needed after cooling.
Notes
For thin parts only; do NOT replace an electric welder.
Avoid prolonged flame heating on the same spot to prevent damage.
Wear hand protection during operation.
